Apples and Spice Porkchops

This was a simple recipie I got.  It started with searing the porkchop in some spices like oregano, thyme and even simple garlic and onions.  Then I let it sit, and broiled it after that.  Just until it was cooked all the way through.  Then I caramalized the apples in the spices that I used in the pork chops to really marinade the falvors together.  After that, I put on some beats and even some brussel sprouts to add some greens on the plate.  That's it! ass you can see it is an easy meal and it is a nice way to entertain friends for a short and simple last minute dinner.

Morton's

Morton's Restaurant located in Ala Moana Shopping Centre 4th floor was a great place to be.  It has a nice atmosphere and it is a very lively place.  I also found it convenient that they allowed you to purchase a cabin for your personal choices of wines.  It is a very nice idea and touch.  Also the fact that they customize the menu when it is someone's birthday or aniversary. 
When i went there, I ordered the New York Strip Steak, (Medium Rare) the Ceaser Salad, and a Baked Potato.  The course started with the salad.  It was an average salad, nothing out of the ordinary.  The steak and potato came at the same time.  When I cut into the steak, It was a perfect shade of light red and crisp on the outside.  My favorite! the plate also had some of the steak's juice flowing around.  After a few  bites, I found my steak to be dry.  I wanted to ask for a steak sauce because it was beginning to lose some of its flavors.  The potato was an ordinary baked potato but I like all of them.
Morton's Reastaurant is a good place for entertainment and also a nice place to have steaks, just be careful how you order it.

          I am a teenage boy from the island of O'ahu and I love a lot of things.  One of my favorite things to do is to cook.  I like to experiment with different recipies and most of all, I love to EAT!!  I decided to make this blog as a "Food Critricism" blog taking in suggestions and going on like a normal food critic.  I mostly will do foods from restaurants in Hawaii, mostly O'ahu, but if I am going on a trip, I will let you know and I will take suggestions of restaurants in that area.  Please follow me and I will try to post as often as possible.
